Synesthesia is Her latest Fall/Winter 2010-2011 collection which was “inspired by the cross -sensational phenomenon of feeling sound, smelling motion, and hearing color.
For her collection for the A/W of 09, Iris translated the concept of mummification into intricate techniques of wrapping and twisting cords of gold, bronze, and cream leather to form her garments. The result is an insane sculptural collection. Mummification is the idea that life is an illusion and in death, one could create their own reality.
