Sruli Recht

I just came across this amazing Icelandic Designer. and thought i'd share his amazing work. Directly from Iceland, Sruli Recht just introduced his incredible new menswear collection ‘When Gravity Fails‘. The collection consists of a total look – from coats, jackets and cardigans, to trousers, shorts and leggings, complimented by shoes, boots, bags, gloves and silver jewelery – 55 styles, approximately 130 with material variations. ...Yeah, I'd wear this shit in an instant.

Felicity Brown A/W 2011

YO! Felicity Brown makes some sick garments ya'll. On the model Felicity's central idea of deconstructing costumes is ever more visible. The skeleton of the pieces is the forefront, its structure defines not just the form but all aspects of the collection. Crepe satin, tulle and silk are hacked with a scissors and layered upon one another. Strands of material hang in the aftermath.
Check it out!!!

Quest for some new kicks.

I need me some new shoes. i saw Rick owens wearing these awsome leather hightops he made at his Fall 2011 show, and those would be perfect... but they cost 1400 dollah. :( where are all the good shoes at for men? Womens shoes are always so innovative and fascinating but men's shoes just stay boring. maybe i should start making shoes for men. cha-ching cash munay.

Louis Vuitton :Channeling Von Tease

I never really enjoyed Louis Vuitton or Marc Jacobs. I've appreciated his work, but none of his collections really fascinated me, until now.
I was checking out some of the newest Fall shows and got drawn into the Strong and sexy sillohettes of the L.V. collection. I have a pure fascination with Dita Von Tease and this collection channeled her 1940's/ kinky aesthetic she personifies. The collection featured pencil skirts and fine tailored leathers, but honestly, the hats were my favorites. just check this shit out. it's pretty saucey.
